ParaMix is an online drill mixing service for independent artists, producers and labels. Drill records are mixed from your stems with the sliding 808 sitting in tune and under control, the vocal present without shouting, and the whole thing checked in four playback environments before it ships.
What a drill mix needs
- 808 slides that stay in tune. The glide between notes is part of the sound, but the pitch has to land where the melody expects it. Slides are tuned, not just levelled.
- Note-length consistency. An 808 that rings long on one bar and cuts short on the next reads as unfinished. Length is matched across the whole record, not decided bar by bar.
- Kick and 808 sharing the low end. Both live under 100 Hz. They are made to sit together — one carrying the punch, the other the weight — instead of masking each other.
- A vocal that stays present over a loud low end. Drill vocals are often delivered close and aggressive. The midrange is protected so the words stay intelligible on a phone speaker.
- Hat and percussion clarity. Fast hat patterns and rolls are kept readable so the groove survives on small speakers.
What the workflow covers
- A written creative target confirmed before mixing starts, built from your references.
- Vocal chain decisions documented and revisable — ad-libs, doubles and hooks included in the pass.
- Low-end balance treated as the record's foundation, checked against the four-environment playback test.
- Release-ready delivery in 7 business days, with the file list (master, instrumental, clean, a cappella) agreed up front.

Quick answers
Do you mix drill only, or other styles too?
Drill sits inside the hip hop and trap work ParaMix already focuses on. Other styles are considered case by case — send a project outline and the scope is confirmed before any work starts.
Can you fix an 808 that is out of tune?
Tuning an 808 is part of a drill mix. Slides are set so the pitch lands where the melody expects, and note lengths are matched across the record.
How much does a drill mix cost?
A single-track custom mix is $150, or $195 with mastering. You can hear one section first with the $50 test mix, credited against a full mix booked within 30 days.
How long does it take?
First full mix in 3–5 business days; release-ready delivery in 7 business days, with the date given at booking and held.
